Are your products dishwasher safe?
Of course! All of our products can be washed in the dishwasher so that you can spend as much time as possible enjoying your home. See additional Product Care.

How are your items packaged?
All of our dishware and glassware items are packaged 4 pieces to a box. Our flatware twenty piece sets contain 4 pieces each of our knife, dinner fork, dessert fork, dinner spoon, and breakfast spoon. These items are packaged in our Rigby-branded boxes that are made from 90% post consumer recycled cardboard.

What is stoneware?
Stoneware is a type of clay that is fired at a high temperature, resulting in a dense, durable product meant for everyday use. Our stoneware dishes are made from natural clay sourced from the ground in Portugal.

What are the dimensions of your dishware?
Dinner Plate: 10.5”D x 1.1”H
Salad Plate: 8.5”D x 1”H
Bowl Small: 6.25”D x 2.5”H
Bowl Large: 8.25”D x 2”H
Mug: 3.4”D x 3.75”H

What is a matte glaze?
A matte glaze has a soft subtle shine rather than a high gloss finish.

Can I mix and match colors?
Yes! We encourage mixing and matching colors and we actually designed our color palette so that any combination will look great together.

My dishware has marks on it after use. Do they come off?
Yes, don’t worry. Flatware can leave scuff marks on the surface of matte glaze ceramics. To remove marks, mix Bar Keepers Friend Cookware Cleanser & Polish (available at most grocery and hardware stores) with a few drops of water on the surface of your dishware. Rub with a soft cloth or non-metal sponge to remove marks. Rinse well.

What is 18/10 stainless steel?
18/10 is premium stainless steel. It’s a fraction explaining the percentages of chromium and nickel that have been added to the stainless steel, respectively. These elements are added to reduce rust and enhance shine and durability.

How many sets should I buy of each item?
If you live by yourself or with one other person, we recommend two boxes of each shape for dishware and glassware items (=8 pieces). If you like to have friends over, we recommend 3 boxes of each shape (=12 pieces).
For flatware, we recommend 2 twenty piece sets (=8 pieces of each shape) for a household of 1-2 people, and 3 twenty piece sets (=12 pieces of each shape) if you enjoy hosting. Still uncertain how many pieces to purchase? See our Buying Guide.

Do your products contain lead or cadmium?
No, our products do not contain lead or cadmium. At Rigby we adhere to the industry’s strictest requirements established by California’s Proposition 65.

 

SHIPPING

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer free shipping on all orders over $150. For orders under $150, we charge a $9 shipping fee.

How will my order ship?
All orders will be shipped by either FedEx or UPS ground service. We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.

How soon will my order ship?
We know you want your new tableware ASAP. Your order will ship out within one business day.

When will I receive my order?
Once it ships, it will arrive to you within 3-7 business days. Trust us, it will be worth the wait.

Do you ship internationally?
Sorry, but we do not currently offer international shipping. Hopefully one day!

Do you ship to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska?
At this time, we only ship to destinations within the contiguous 48 states.

Do you ship to PO boxes?
At this time, we are unable to ship to PO boxes.

I’d like to send my order as a gift. Do you gift wrap?
Not at this time, but our boxes are beautiful enough to give as a gift and we are happy to include a gift message.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What is your return policy?
We accept unused, undamaged product returns in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase.

Do you offer free return shipping?
All returns will incur a $9 charge to cover restocking fees at our warehouse.

How do I return an item?
Send an email to hello@rigbyhome.com with your order number and the items you would like to return. We will send you a return shipping label and instructions.

I received my item as a gift, can I return it?
We can’t offer a refund for a gifted item, but we are happy to offer you store credit for the full order value. Contact hello@rigbyhome.com to initiate your return for a store credit.

Can I exchange an item?
At this time, we do not offer exchanges. Contact hello@rigbyhome.com to return your order and then place a new order for the items you’d like.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Send us an email at hello@rigbyhome.com with a picture of the damaged items and we will gladly replace them.
